The Original GYPSY Bag aka Goddess Bag Kits My friend Sunny Dunn and I began to make what we call "Gypsy Flower Bags"
sometime in 1996 as a result of a pattern we found in one of Peggy Sue Henry's "Beads to Buckskins" books. WE cut
down a much larger pattern that dated from the early 1800's. We made our first bags out of glove leather. Why
glove leather you might ask? A close friend of mine had found a glove salesman's old sample case with all sorts
of ladies' gloves inside. The problem was, they were ALL left-handed. So that was the first source of leather for our
bags. I love it when I can use up every bit of something though, and as a consequence, I kept a big ol' plastic
bag full of leather glove fingers for years. I never did get to use them up. They were kinda creepy.
All kits are complete including 2 beading needles and a spool of Nymo Thread.
